Conductive
ESD FlooringCONDUCTIVE CLASS
A seamless conductive epoxy system that drains static to earth in the fastest controlled way — engineered to ANSI/ESD S20.20 & IEC 61340-5-1 for explosive, flammable and high-sensitivity environments.
What is Conductive ESD Flooring?
Conductive ESD flooring is a seamless epoxy system that drains static electricity to earth in the fastest controlled way, through a built-in copper grounding grid and conductive layers. Engineered to the conductive class (below 1.0 × 10⁶ Ω) under ANSI/ESD S20.20 and IEC 61340-5-1, it protects environments where rapid charge removal is critical — explosive, flammable and highly static-sensitive areas.
How the System Is Built
A conductive ESD floor is an engineered stack — every layer has a job. Tap any layer to see its function.
Earthing Termination
Each grid node is terminated to the building's earth system and verified by a qualified electrician, completing a continuous, testable path to ground — confirmed by on-site resistance testing at handover.
POLYZEN ZENSTAT Conductive (ZS-300)
This floor is delivered using POLYZEN ZENSTAT Conductive (ZS-300) — a conductive ESD floor finish, formulated and manufactured by POLYZEN.
Standards This System Is Built To
The conductive class is defined by the governing standards below.
Values above are the industry-standard class definitions. POLYZEN ZENSTAT ZS-300 system performance values are confirmed in the product TDS.
The Application Process
Inspect & Assess
Substrate moisture & strength, FFL survey, existing earth points and ESD risk-zone mapping.
Design & Specify
Conductive target, copper grid layout & density, and full system build-up specified.
Prepare & Apply
Shot-blast → conductive primer → copper grid → conductive body coat → ZS-300 topcoat.
Test & Certify
Resistance-to-ground & walking body-voltage tests, earthing verification, written warranty.
