FAQ

Healthcare & Hospitals Flooring — FAQ

What flooring is best for hospitals and operating theatres?
Seamless epoxy and PU systems are preferred for their hygiene and cleanability. Operating theatres use conductive ESD flooring (ZENSTAT Conductive), while ICU, labs and pharmacy areas use ZENFLOR Sovereign. POLYZEN specifies zone-by-zone for the right hygiene and safety profile.
Is the flooring antimicrobial and infection-control friendly?
Yes. The systems are seamless, non-porous and fully coved, with antimicrobial-ready finishes that resist microbial growth — supporting infection-control objectives.
Can it withstand hospital-grade disinfectants?
Yes. The recommended systems resist repeated chemical disinfection regimes. Specific chemical-resistance values are stated Per TDS.
Do you provide conductive / ESD flooring for operating theatres?
Yes. ZENSTAT Conductive provides static-safe flooring for operating theatres and sensitive-equipment rooms, integrated with coving and hygienic detailing.
Is the flooring slip-resistant for patient safety?
Yes. Engineered texture provides slip resistance for patients, staff and trolleys, tuned by area. The slip rating is published Per TDS.
Does POLYZEN flooring support NABH accreditation?
POLYZEN systems are engineered to support NABH facility standards by providing hygienic, seamless, cleanable surfaces. Accreditation of the facility itself remains with the operator.
