Anti-Skid
Ramp CoatingHIGH-GRIP · SLOPED · TYRE-SAFE

A heavy aggregate-broadcast grip system built for the one place tyres lose traction — the ramp. A dense, coarse anti-skid profile is locked into a tough resin build over a mechanically prepared incline, giving vehicles reliable grip on slopes, turns and entry/exit ramps in any weather.

OVERVIEW

What is Anti-Skid Ramp Coating?

Anti-skid ramp coating is a high-traction resin system engineered for the steepest, most slip-prone part of any parking structure — the ramp. On an incline, braking and turning tyres need far more grip than a flat deck, so the system broadcasts a coarse, graded aggregate densely into a tough resin build over a mechanically prepared slope. The result is an aggressive, durable anti-skid profile that holds vehicles on entry and exit ramps, basement spirals and turning circles, wet or dry. It is the dedicated ZENDECK grip system for sloped and high-traction surfaces.

THE ZENDECK SYSTEM

How the System Is Built

A ramp is built for grip first — a heavier aggregate broadcast than a flat deck, locked down over a sound, mechanically prepared slope. Tap any layer to see its role.

Encapsulating Grip Topcoat

Lock-Down & Seal

A tough top coat encapsulates the coarse aggregate without burying its profile, locking the grip in place and sealing the surface against oil, water and abrasion for a long-wearing, high-traction ramp. System values: Per TDS.

THE POLYZEN SYSTEM

Built with ZENDECK Grip (ZK-300)

This ramp is delivered using ZENDECK Grip (ZK-300) — POLYZEN's anti-skid ramp system, formulated and manufactured by POLYZEN and applied turnkey with survey, mechanical preparation, heavy aggregate broadcast and warranty.

04
WHY IT WORKS

Grip Where It Matters Most

A ramp concentrates every traction risk in one place — slope, braking, turning and water runoff. A standard floor finish is not enough. ZENDECK Grip uses a heavier, coarser broadcast than a flat deck to give vehicles a positive bite on the incline. Performance is confirmed on the product TDS.

POLYZEN Values
Per Product TDS

Aggregate grade, broadcast rate and build are specified per ramp gradient and traffic. For fully sun-exposed ramps a UV-stable or PU-based topcoat is specified. POLYZEN confirms finished values on the product TDS and does not publish fabricated figures.

The Application Process

01

Inspect & Assess

Survey gradient, traffic and water runoff, check moisture and review the existing ramp condition.

02

Prepare & Prime

Diamond-grind or shot-blast the slope, repair cracks and spalls, then apply the bonding primer.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is anti-skid ramp coating?
It is a high-traction resin system for ramps and inclines. A coarse, graded aggregate is broadcast densely into a tough resin build over a mechanically prepared slope and locked down with an encapsulating topcoat, giving an aggressive anti-skid profile that keeps vehicles gripped on slopes, turns and entry/exit ramps in wet or dry conditions.
Why do ramps need a different coating from flat decks?
On a slope, braking and turning tyres need much more grip than on a flat deck, and water runs faster across the surface. So a ramp system uses a heavier, coarser aggregate broadcast to build a more aggressive anti-skid profile. POLYZEN specifies the exact aggregate grade and build during survey, based on gradient and traffic.
Does it work in wet conditions?
Yes. The coarse aggregate profile is designed to maintain traction when wet, which is exactly when ramps are most slip-prone. The encapsulating topcoat also seals against water and oil. Slip-resistance details are confirmed on the product TDS.
Can it be used on outdoor, sun-exposed ramps?
Yes. For ramps exposed to direct sun, the system is specified with a UV-stable or PU-based topcoat so the grip surface resists sunlight and weathering. POLYZEN selects the right topcoat for the ramp's exposure during survey.
Which POLYZEN product is used for this floor?
This ramp is delivered using ZENDECK Grip (ZK-300), POLYZEN's anti-skid ramp system — formulated and manufactured by POLYZEN and applied turnkey, or supplied as a kit to trade partners and applicators.
Does POLYZEN provide a warranty?
Yes. Every installation is handed over after a final inspection, slip-profile check and a written system warranty, with terms confirmed per project scope, gradient and traffic load.
