What is Industrial Tank Lining?
Industrial tank lining is the protective lining of the inside of tanks and vessels that hold liquids in constant contact — water, effluent, chemicals or process media. Unlike an external coating that sits in air, a lining is permanently immersed, so it must resist the specific stored media without softening, blistering or breaking down. The tank interior is prepared and built up with a seamless, chemical-resistant, immersion-grade lining that both contains the contents leak-free and shields the tank wall from chemical attack and corrosion. It is delivered as a POLYZEN Applied System, with the lining selected for the media stored.
How the Lining Is Built

Cure & Holiday Test
The lining is cured to immersion service and checked for pinholes and discontinuities with a holiday (spark) test, confirming a continuous, leak-free film before the tank is returned to service. System values: Per TDS.
Delivered as a POLYZEN Applied System
This lining is delivered as a POLYZEN Applied System — surveyed, specified and applied turnkey by trained applicators using immersion-grade, chemical-resistant lining systems and verified by holiday testing. The lining chemistry and film thickness are selected per the stored media, temperature and duty.
Built for Permanent Immersion
A tank lining lives a harder life than any external coating — it is permanently immersed in the very media it has to resist, with no chance to dry out. The lining must be chemically matched to the contents, seamless so there is no leak path, and proven continuous before the tank is filled. POLYZEN starts from the stored media, builds the lining to the right thickness and holiday-tests it. The lining is matched to the contents. Performance is confirmed on the product TDS.
Lining chemistry, film thickness, reinforcement and detailing are specified per the stored media, concentration, temperature and duty cycle. Potable-water linings are specified to the relevant approvals. POLYZEN confirms finished values and chemical suitability on the product TDS and does not publish fabricated figures.

Prepare & Detail
Blast or prepare the interior, repair the substrate, and stripe-coat corners, welds and penetrations.
Build the Lining
Prime and build the seamless lining to the specified film thickness, reinforced where required.
Test & Handover
Cure, holiday-test for continuity, final inspection and written warranty.
