KIT COMPOSITION

A Pre-Measured System

Every ZENSTAT Prime kit ships with components pre-measured for on-site accuracy — open, blend to the specified ratio, and apply. Consistent static-control performance, no guesswork.

PART A

Conductive Epoxy Resin

Static-control epoxy resin base that carries the floor's anti-static performance.

PART B

Hardener

Curing agent matched to the resin for a durable, chemically resistant anti-static finish.

FAQ

Common Questions

What is ZENSTAT Prime (ZS-100)?
ZENSTAT Prime is POLYZEN's entry-tier anti-static epoxy floor and the foundation of the ZENSTAT ESD range. It controls surface static charge and prevents harmful charge build-up underfoot, protecting sensitive electronics in handling, light-assembly and storage areas. It is supplied as a pre-measured kit and installed as part of a grounded static-control system, formulated and manufactured by POLYZEN.
What is the difference between anti-static, dissipative and conductive ESD floors?
They differ by how much electrical resistance they offer and how quickly they move static charge to ground. Anti-static floors such as ZENSTAT Prime provide entry-level control that prevents charge build-up. Static-dissipative floors release charge in a slower, controlled way for sensitive electronics, and conductive floors discharge fastest for the most critical environments. POLYZEN offers all three — Prime (ZS-100), Dissipative (ZS-200) and Conductive (ZS-300).
Where is ZENSTAT Prime used?
It suits electronics handling and storage, light electronics assembly, component warehousing and distribution, IT and server support rooms, telecom equipment rooms, and electronics repair and test areas — wherever floors need reliable anti-static control without the demands of a fully conductive system.
Does ZENSTAT Prime need earthing and grounding?
Yes. Like all static-control floors, it performs as part of a grounded system that carries static charge safely to earth. POLYZEN installs the required earthing connections as part of the applied system, so the floor functions as intended on site.
Which ESD standards apply to ZENSTAT floors?
The recognised framework for static control is IEC 61340-5-1 and ANSI/ESD S20.20. Within the ZENSTAT range, the strict ESD-floor resistance limits are met by Dissipative (ZS-200) and Conductive (ZS-300), while Prime provides entry-level anti-static control. Verified resistance values for each product are published on its Technical Data Sheet.
Can POLYZEN supply and install ZENSTAT Prime?
Yes. POLYZEN manufactures ZENSTAT Prime and offers it both as supply-only kits for trade partners and applicators, and as a turnkey applied system covering survey, surface preparation, grounding, application and warranty.
