ZENTOPSL 100 · SL 200 · CL 100
The layer that takes the traffic. Three grades on one binder family — two pigmented and self-levelling, one clear for broadcast and decorative work.
What is ZENTOP?
ZENTOP is the wearing coat family in the POLYZEN material range — the top layer that actually meets the forklift, the trolley and the cleaning regime. Three grades share one binder family: SL 100 and SL 200 are four-component, pigmented, self-levelling wearing coats separated by thickness and filler grading; CL 100 is a two-component unfilled clear binder for broadcast and decorative work.
Which ZENTOP Goes Where
| Grade | Applied Thickness | What It Is | Where It Goes |
|---|---|---|---|
| ZENTOP SL 100 | 0.7 – 1.4 mm | Four-component, solvent-free, pigmented self-levelling epoxy. Quartz filler graded to 0.3 mm maximum so no aggregate telegraphs through at this thickness. | Light to medium duty industrial floors · warehouses and storage · assembly and packing · pharmaceutical, life science and clean rooms · food and beverage processing |
| ZENTOP SL 200 | 1.5 – 2.5 mm | Same binder as SL 100 with a coarser filler to 0.6 mm maximum, correctly proportioned to the greater layer thickness. Higher filler loading gives a denser section. | Medium to heavy duty floors · forklift and pallet truck traffic · production and process areas · high-stack warehouses · vehicle service and assembly bays |
| ZENTOP CL 100 | Per use | Two-component, solvent-free, unfilled clear epoxy binder. Lowest mixed viscosity and longest pot life in the range; Part B is formulated to resist amine blush so the cured film stays clear. | Base and seal coats for quartz, mica and flake broadcast · binder for metallic and marble-effect floors · epoxy terrazzo · counter and bar tops · refresh coat over sound resin floors |
A Pre-Measured System
Each grade is supplied as a pre-measured kit. Mix full kits only, exactly as supplied — no part-mixing and no site additions. The Part C bag weight matches one kit, so nothing is weighed on site.
| Component | ZENTOP SL 100 | ZENTOP SL 200 |
|---|---|---|
| Part A — Base (epoxy resin) | 5.0 kg | 5.0 kg |
| Part B — Hardener (amine curing agent) | 2.5 kg | 2.5 kg |
| Part C — Filler (graded quartz) | 12.0 kg · max 0.3 mm | 13.5 kg · max 0.6 mm |
| Part D — Pigment (colour pack) | 0.4 kg | 0.45 kg |
| Kit total | 19.9 kg | 21.45 kg |
ZENTOP CL 100 is supplied as a 7.5 kg two-component kit. The filler grading is proprietary to POLYZEN and is not disclosed. Mix ratio, pack weights and cure data are published on each product Technical Data Sheet.
How Far Does a Kit Go?
| Grade | Theoretical | Practical — use this | Coverage per kit |
|---|---|---|---|
| ZENTOP SL 100 | 1.72 kg/m² per mm | 2.00 kg/m² per mm | 9.95 m² at 1 mm · 19.9 kg kit |
| ZENTOP SL 200 | 1.76 kg/m² per mm | 2.05 kg/m² per mm | 5.23 m² at 2 mm · 21.45 kg kit |
| ZENTOP CL 100 | — | 0.30 – 1.20 kg/m² by use | 6 – 25 m² · 7.5 kg kit |
The practical figure allows for surface profile and normal wastage and is the value to be used for estimating. For CL 100 over a broadcast surface, consumption depends on the aggregate grade and how much texture is to be retained — a heavier seal coat gives a smoother, more cleanable floor, a lighter one keeps the anti-skid profile open.

The Full Build-Up
ZENTOP is the wearing coat. A complete POLYZEN floor is built from a primer, an optional levelling underlay, the wearing coat and — where an anti-skid or decorative profile is required — a broadcast aggregate.
