OVERVIEW

What is ZENSTAT Dissipative (ZS-200)?

ZENSTAT Dissipative is POLYZEN's static-dissipative ESD floor — the workhorse of the ZENSTAT range. It moves static charge to ground in a slow, controlled way, protecting sensitive electronics while keeping personnel safe from sudden discharge. Supplied as a pre-measured kit and installed over a copper earthing grid as a grounded ESD system, formulated and manufactured by POLYZEN.

KIT COMPOSITION

A Pre-Measured System

Every ZENSTAT Dissipative kit ships with components pre-measured for on-site accuracy — open, blend to the specified ratio, and apply over the prepared earthing grid. Consistent dissipative performance, no guesswork.

PART A

Conductive Epoxy Resin

Conductive epoxy resin base that carries the floor's controlled static-dissipative performance.

PART B

Hardener

Curing agent matched to the resin for a durable, chemically resistant dissipative floor.

PART C

Conductive Aggregate

Graded conductive aggregate that gives the floor its body and even charge dissipation across the surface.

FAQ

Common Questions

What is ZENSTAT Dissipative (ZS-200)?
ZENSTAT Dissipative is POLYZEN's static-dissipative ESD floor and the workhorse of the ZENSTAT range. It moves static charge to ground in a slow, controlled way, protecting sensitive electronics while keeping personnel safe from sudden discharge. It is supplied as a pre-measured kit and installed over a copper earthing grid as a grounded ESD system, formulated and manufactured by POLYZEN.
What is the difference between static-dissipative and conductive ESD floors?
A static-dissipative floor moves charge to ground gradually through a higher-resistance path, giving a gentle, controlled discharge that suits most sensitive-electronics environments. A conductive floor has lower resistance and discharges faster, for the most critical or explosive-risk areas. POLYZEN offers both — Dissipative (ZS-200) and Conductive (ZS-300) — plus entry-level anti-static Prime (ZS-100).
Where is ZENSTAT Dissipative used?
It suits electronics manufacturing and assembly, PCB and circuit-board production, data centres and server rooms, telecom and communications facilities, laboratories and R&D, and cleanrooms and controlled environments — wherever sensitive electronics need controlled, reliable static dissipation.
Which ESD standards apply to ZENSTAT Dissipative?
It is designed for the static-dissipative resistance band recognised by IEC 61340-5-1 and ANSI/ESD S20.20, the international framework for ESD control, which sets an upper limit below 1×10⁹ ohms for ESD flooring. Verified resistance values are confirmed on the product Technical Data Sheet from test reports.
Does ZENSTAT Dissipative need earthing and grounding?
Yes. A static-dissipative floor only works when connected to ground. ZENSTAT Dissipative is installed over a copper earthing grid bonded to the building's earth, and POLYZEN sets up these grounding connections as part of the applied system.
Can POLYZEN supply and install ZENSTAT Dissipative?
Yes. POLYZEN manufactures ZENSTAT Dissipative and offers it both as supply-only kits for trade partners and applicators, and as a turnkey applied system covering survey, surface preparation, copper-grid earthing, application and warranty.
