What is Polished Concrete Flooring?
Polished concrete is a mechanically processed floor in which a concrete slab is ground with progressively finer diamond abrasives and treated with a chemical densifier, then polished to the desired sheen. The result is a dense, dust-proof, abrasion-resistant surface that uses the concrete itself as the finished floor — no coating to peel or delaminate. It is prized for its clean industrial-modern look, very low maintenance, and long service life, with the gloss tuned anywhere from a soft matte to a reflective high-shine.
