OVERVIEW

What is Epoxy Parking Deck Coating?

Epoxy parking deck coating is a heavy-duty, multi-layer resin floor engineered for the punishment a vehicular deck takes every day — turning tyres, point loads, oil and fuel spills, and constant abrasion. A high-build epoxy body is laid over a mechanically prepared, primed slab and a graded aggregate is broadcast into it to refusal, then locked down with a sealing top coat. The result is a tough, oil-resistant, anti-skid surface that holds up to car-park traffic, cleans easily and accepts crisp bay, lane and directional marking. It is the core ZENDECK system for covered and intermediate parking levels.

THE ZENDECK SYSTEM

How the System Is Built

A parking deck is built up layer-by-layer over a sound, mechanically prepared slab — a broadcast build that gives both strength and grip. Tap any layer to see its role.

Seal + Anti-Skid Topcoat

Lock-Down & Line Marking

An encapsulating seal coat locks the broadcast aggregate in place, giving a hard-wearing, cleanable, anti-skid surface. Bay, lane and directional marking is then applied for a finished, ready-to-use deck. System values: Per TDS.

THE POLYZEN SYSTEM

Built with ZENDECK Park (ZK-100)

This deck is delivered using ZENDECK Park (ZK-100) — POLYZEN's heavy-duty epoxy parking-deck system, formulated and manufactured by POLYZEN and applied turnkey with survey, mechanical preparation, aggregate-broadcast build, line marking and warranty.

04
WHY IT WORKS

Built for Vehicular Punishment

A parking deck faces a unique mix of stresses — point loads from parked vehicles, scrubbing from turning tyres, oil and fuel attack, and heavy abrasion at ramps and aisles. The ZENDECK Park build is engineered for exactly that. Performance is confirmed on the product TDS.

POLYZEN Values
Per Product TDS

Build thickness, aggregate grade and number of coats are specified per deck traffic and exposure. POLYZEN confirms finished values on the product TDS and does not publish fabricated figures.

The Application Process

01

Inspect & Assess

Survey traffic, slope and drainage, check moisture and review the existing deck condition.

02

Prepare & Prime

Diamond-grind or shot-blast the slab, repair cracks and spalls, then apply the bonding primer.

03

Build & Broadcast

High-build epoxy body → aggregate broadcast to refusal → cure and de-sand for anti-skid texture.

04

Seal & Mark

Encapsulating seal coat, then bay, lane and directional line marking, final inspection and warranty.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is epoxy parking deck coating?
It is a heavy-duty, multi-layer epoxy floor for car parks and vehicular decks. A high-build epoxy body is laid over a mechanically prepared, primed slab and graded aggregate is broadcast into it, then locked down with a sealing top coat — giving a tough, oil-resistant, anti-skid surface that takes tyre traffic and accepts bay and lane marking.
Which floor is best for a car park or parking deck?
For covered and intermediate parking levels, a high-build epoxy broadcast system is usually preferred because it resists oil, abrasion and point loads while giving a built-in anti-skid texture. POLYZEN specifies the exact build during survey, based on traffic, slope and exposure. Fully sun-exposed top decks may instead need a UV-stable or PU-based system.
Is the deck anti-skid and line-marking ready?
Yes. The aggregate-broadcast finish provides a controlled anti-skid texture for vehicle tyres, and the sealed surface accepts crisp bay, lane and directional line marking. Slip-resistance and marking details are confirmed on the product TDS.
How thick is a parking deck coating?
A vehicular broadcast deck is a high-build system, considerably thicker than a thin roller coating, so it can carry load and abrasion. The exact build thickness, aggregate grade and number of coats are specified per deck traffic and published on the product TDS.
Which POLYZEN product is used for this floor?
This deck is delivered using ZENDECK Park (ZK-100), POLYZEN's heavy-duty epoxy parking-deck system — formulated and manufactured by POLYZEN and applied turnkey, or supplied as a kit to trade partners and applicators.
Does POLYZEN provide a warranty?
Yes. Every installation is handed over after a final inspection, line marking and a written system warranty, with terms confirmed per project scope, traffic load and substrate condition.
