OVERVIEW

What is Epoxy Repair & Patching?

Epoxy repair and patching is a targeted reinstatement service for floors that are damaged, worn, cracked, delaminated or pitted. Rather than replacing the whole floor, failed areas are cut out, prepared and rebuilt with a strong epoxy repair compound, then blended back into the surrounding surface. It restores safety, hygiene and appearance quickly and with minimal disruption.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is epoxy repair and patching?
It is a targeted service that reinstates damaged, worn or cracked areas of a floor instead of replacing the whole floor. Failed material is cut out, primed and rebuilt with an epoxy repair compound, then blended back into the surrounding surface.
Can you repair just a small damaged area?
Yes. The service is designed to reinstate localised damage — cracks, potholes, delamination, worn joints and edges — without redoing the entire floor, saving cost and downtime.
Will the repair match the existing floor?
The repaired area is finished and blended to match the surrounding floor as closely as the existing surface allows. On older or faded floors a slight difference can remain, which is reviewed with you on survey.
How long does a repair take?
Most localised repairs are completed quickly with minimal disruption. The exact time depends on the size and type of damage, confirmed after the site survey.
Do you repair concrete as well as resin floors?
Yes. POLYZEN repairs both resin floors and concrete surfaces, selecting the right method and material for each substrate and failure type.
Is the repair warranted?
Yes. Every repair is handed over with a written warranty on the repaired area, with terms confirmed per repair scope and substrate condition.
