What is Heavy Duty Epoxy Flooring?
Heavy duty epoxy flooring is a high-build, multi-coat epoxy system engineered for the most demanding industrial conditions — severe abrasion, continuous foot and vehicle traffic, and aggressive chemical exposure. Built up in reinforced layers over a primed substrate, it forms a dense, seamless, long-life floor that protects the concrete beneath and stands up to relentless daily use.

Heavy-Duty Epoxy Topcoat
A tough epoxy topcoat seals the system into a dense, chemical- and abrasion-resistant surface built to take continuous traffic and aggressive cleaning. Gloss level and slip rating are specified to the environment. System values: Per TDS.
POLYZEN ZENFLOR Sovereign (ZF-500)
This floor is delivered using POLYZEN ZENFLOR Sovereign (ZF-500) — a heavy-duty high-build epoxy system, formulated and manufactured by POLYZEN.
Engineered Performance
A heavy duty epoxy floor is specified for severe abrasion, heavy traffic and chemical exposure. POLYZEN tests against recognised methods; product-specific results are confirmed in the TDS.
Tested performance values for ZENFLOR Sovereign (ZF-500) are confirmed in the product TDS. POLYZEN does not publish fabricated specification figures.
The Application Process
Inspect & Assess
Substrate survey, moisture testing and assessment of traffic, wear and chemical demand.
Design & Specify
Build thickness, coats, chemical grade and slip rating specified to the duty of the space.
Prepare & Apply
Diamond grind / shot-blast → epoxy primer → high-build base coat → heavy-duty topcoat.
Cure & Handover
Controlled cure, final inspection, finish/resistance checks and written warranty.
