OVERVIEW

Flooring for Industrial & Manufacturing

Industrial and manufacturing floors face forklift traffic, point loads, impact, abrasion and chemical spillage every shift. POLYZEN engineers high-build epoxy and PU systems that resist wear, carry heavy loads and shrug off chemical exposure — keeping plants safe, dust-free and productive shift after shift.

INDUSTRY REQUIREMENTS

What an Industrial Floor Must Deliver

Every requirement below maps to a performance or safety driver — not a cosmetic one.

01

Abrasion Resistance

Withstands constant forklift, pallet and foot traffic without wearing through.

02

Impact & Point-Load

Carries machinery, racking and dropped-tool impact without fracture.

03

Chemical Resistance

Resists oils, solvents, acids and process chemicals from spillage.

04

Dust-Proofing

Seals friable concrete to eliminate dust contamination of products.

05

Anti-Skid Safety

Engineered grip for ramps, aisles and wet zones to prevent slips.

06

Line Marking

Clear demarcation for traffic lanes, walkways and safety zones.

07

Thermal & Wet Resistance

PU systems for wash bays, wet process and thermal areas.

08

Fast Return-to-Service

Phased application to keep production lines running.

STANDARDS & PERFORMANCE

Engineered to Support Performance & Safety

Industrial floors are judged on performance and workplace safety. POLYZEN systems are specified to support both — with values stated Per TDS.

TIER 1 · SAFETY

Factories Act Premises

Supports a safe workplace with anti-skid, dust-free and clearly demarcated floor surfaces.

TIER 2 · PERFORMANCE

Abrasion Resistance

Supports heavy-traffic durability; abrasion values stated Per TDS.

TIER 2 · PERFORMANCE

Compressive Strength

Supports point-load and machinery loading; strength values stated Per TDS.

TIER 2 · PERFORMANCE

Chemical Resistance

Supports chemical-handling areas; resistance profile stated Per TDS.

TIER 3 · ENVIRONMENT

Low-VOC / Containment

Supports environmental and containment requirements with low-VOC, chemical-resistant systems.

Material performance values are stated Per TDS. POLYZEN supplies and applies flooring systems engineered to support facility performance and safety requirements; verification rests with the operator.

CRITICAL ZONES MAP

The Right System for Each Zone

A plant is not one floor — it is many. POLYZEN specifies zone-by-zone, not one finish for everything.

FAQ

Industrial & Manufacturing Flooring — FAQ

What is the best flooring for a manufacturing plant?
Heavy-duty epoxy (ZENFLOR Sovereign) or epoxy mortar suits high-impact production and chemical areas, while PU concrete (ZENPU Cretescreed) handles wet and thermal zones. POLYZEN specifies zone-by-zone for the right strength, chemical and slip profile.
How much load can industrial epoxy flooring take?
The recommended systems carry heavy machinery and forklift point-loads. The exact compressive strength for each system is stated Per TDS.
Is the flooring chemical resistant?
Yes. The systems resist oils, solvents, acids and common process chemicals. The full chemical-resistance profile is published Per TDS.
Can POLYZEN provide anti-skid ramps and line marking?
Yes. Anti-skid grip systems are available for ramps and aisles, along with safety demarcation and line marking for traffic and walkway zones.
Will the floor stop concrete dusting?
Yes. The systems seal friable concrete to eliminate dust, protecting products, machinery and air quality in the facility.
Can it be installed without stopping production?
Yes. POLYZEN plans phased application and offers rapid-cure options where downtime must be minimised, sequencing work around live operations.
